Privilege Pay Opt-In

New legislation now requires all members with a checking account to Opt IN to have Privilege Pay benefits.

Privilege Pay is our overdraft protection that allows members’ checking accounts to go into the negative, up to $750… for those oops moments, or unexpected expenses. Of course it needs to be paid back (within 45 days).

In the past, members did not have to ask for this benefit as part of their checking account, it came automatically. Because of  legislation, members now have to ASK for it (Opt IN). If a member chooses not to Opt IN, they may experience a declined transaction when funds are not available to cover it.

Opting in (Opt IN) is easy: Call us at (541)343-6238 or (800)477-3328; or email us at info@pacificcascade.org; or stop by any Pacific Cascade branch; or send us your request via mail. Tell us you want to Opt IN to have Privilege Pay coverage. If you have more than one checking account with us, you’ll need to Opt IN for each account. After Opting IN you will receive a “confirmation letter.”
